Kiddimoto is the perfect early introduction to two wheels. Kiddimoto bikes do not have pedals or training wheels, therefore children learn to balance and steer very quickly. At first, they ride with at least one foot firmly on the ground. As they develop confidence, they'll begin to lift both feet, scooting forward, balancing, and occasionally dabbing a foot to the floor when the bike leans over. Soon, they'll be balancing, learning and playing all at once. The best way to teach a child to cycle is not to use training wheels, which simply prevent them from developing a proper sense of balance. Get them onto a Kiddimoto as early as possible.
Kiddimoto bikes are designed in Britain to the very highest standards. The quality of our bikes last longer and the first class craftsmanship makes them a pleasure to ride. Additionally, our bikes improve motor skills, which means that children learn balance and co-ordination, increase strength, and develop confidence on two wheels earlier than they have been able to before. All available research indicates that play goes right to the brain. There is clear links between the ability to play, motor skills, and the capacity to learn; linguistically and mathematically, in concrete and abstract terms, intellectually, and socially. All the scooting around on a Kiddimoto is also great exercise.
